EAR BUD HOLDER
I designed an ear bud holder so when I reach into my back pack and pull them out to play music, then2fdfddfknot that is a pain to untangle. So, I did some brain storming and research and sketched out some ideas. I wanted my design to be unique and to my liking so I made the holder into the fish
Step 1 (Sketches)
These are my original thoughts of what my holder was going to be I took measurements of the ear buds I was going to use. I decided on having two holes that would hold the buds in place. One hole would be in the mouth and the other was going to be in the tale. Then I choose to have the fishes ribs where you could wrap the cords around. This was the first step of my project with some sketches and measurements.

Step 4
I wanted my holder to be nice and smooth so I used the fillet tool on the top ribbon. This tool allows you to curve each edge any size you want. After I was done this was the 3D model of my fish ear bud holder. |
Step 5
Then I had to upload my file into maker bot and set it up so its ready to be put on a flash drive and printed by a 3D printer. |
Step 6
I uploaded my maker bot file onto a flash drive and plunged it into the printer. Because my design wasn't very big it only took 43 minutes.

FINAL PRODUCT
This project was very fun. My design work out perfectly and I am really happy on how it turned out. In this project me I learned how to use some new constraints that help me build my holder. One of them allowed you to select two lines and make them parallel to each other. Over all I had a good time make this cool ear bud holder and learned some new constants that will help me constructed more ideas in the future.
